When Steve Bjork resurfaced on CoCoTalk, he was a significant influence in raising the production values from “a bunch of yahoos” to something more like “a herd of cats”. His unique perspective on media production, the CoCo, and retro computing, in general, was an invaluable resource.
His influence is ongoing and significant for this CoCo Community member in that Bjork directly inspired me pursue the design and production of the CoCoMp3 project, advancing the audio capabilities of the CoCo in a groundbreaking fashion. (He suggested using the serial port to trigger an MP3 chip).
And not only that, but he also provided code which I adopted into my own CoCo programming (Realm of Doom) and suggested that my style of game creation would be a good match for the OS9 operating system (which I may not actually get to).

Steve Bjork’s influence is still advancing the CoCo community. R.I.P. Steve.
